GOLD COAST TO BUY 104.7 REDLANDS !

An application has been filed to sell the C.P. of 104.7 Redlands, presently licensed as KDES Palm Springs to a corp. headed by Roy Laughlin and 30% owned by Gold Coast. Liberman will lease the C.P. transmitter site that it uses for it's 96.1 to the new owner of 104.7. This will sped up the relocation of classic hits KDES to 98.5 and the move of KWXY to 1340. Cash sales are normally appproved in about 6 weeks

It looks like that is Gold Coast's plan. KDES will start similcasting on both 98.5 and 104.7 in mid november for about a month then Gold Coast will fire up 104.7 in Redlands.

So will it be Q104.7? Serving oxnard, LA, and the Inland Empire?

... except that it will not have a usable signal over even 5% of the LA market.
