Good article in State about sports stations

Even-handed for 107.5 and 1400. Not much mention at all about ESPN 93.1.

So who survives? And who gets the USC rights next year? I'm sure USC likes the fact that most sports are on one station now, but they are on a weaker signal now for football games.

This may or may not be a good idea, but it might of been great to have The Game on 106.7, move B to 103.1, and go classic hits on 107.5.

That seems logical, but I'd move WOMG to 107.5, and leave it as is for the most part. It's one of the only good stations left in the state.... :-X

Personally I think I would leave the stations just the way that they are. You have to remember that even though WOMG is one of just a handful of oldies stations around, it has a core audience that is strictly Columbia based, and the others are not and from what I have heard on the radio, they are striving to get out further than just Columbia with WNKT and WTCB.
