Man, there are quite a few, the other way was easier. I'll give a thumb up to the two I listen to the most WHTZ, and WSPK.

I agree with you in 3 out of those 5 choices.

Northeast: Z-100 New York
South: B-92 Charleston
Midwest: 106.9 K-Hits Tulsa
Rockies/Mountains/Southwest: 98.9 MAGIC FM Colo. Springs
(I live in Denver and recieve both stations and IMO 98.9 Magic FM is the better CHR. Magic being on of my favs over the entire country.)
West Coast: 102.7 KIIS FM Los Angeles
______________

Just three letters are necessary.

F. L. Z. 'Nuff said.

In addition, allow me to add Z100 / NYC, Q100 / Atlanta, Kiss 95.1 / Charlotte, and 95SX / Charleston (the latter, especially, is truly a breath of fresh air to hear).

1. Z100/New York
2. KRBE/Houston
3. Channel 933/San Diego
4. Q100/Atlanta
5. KSMB/Lafayette (okay, I might be just a little biased on this one :p)
6. (tie) Q93/Alexandria, LA & WABB/Mobile

Z-100, B-92 Charleston, I agree there.
Q100....I mean, All The Hits Q100 in Atlanta is a personal favorite of mine...have enjoyed them for YEARS, nice balanced playlist...hope Cumulus doesn't mess them up!

I'll give props to my hometown CHR, WAKS/Cleveland (965 KISS-FM). I believe Dan Mason and Kasper do a great job with keeping that station fresh and in tune with their audience very well.

My favorite would probably have to be WNCI 97.9 in Columbus though...you should check them out if you have not!

I'm not huge on CHR... but

94.5 WPST- Trenton is great,
and KSYN 92.5 in Joplin, MO sounds pretty good too.

more good CHRs

Here's some I failed to mention:

KIYS Jonesboro, AR (Average CC Kiss station with an abnormal rock friendly playlist. They even do Active Rock overnights)
KBKS Seattle (New music friendly)
Key 103.0 Manchester (Listen online. You'll hear what I mean)
Nova 93.7 Perth (I heard this station when I was in Perth. Not only do they have a good playlist, but they got some of the best imaging ever)

Gone:

WBBO Monmouth-Ocean (I had several chances to hear this station between 1997 and 2005 and they were very cool both as a regular CHR and an alternative leaning CHR. Now a good full blown alternative.)
WYCO Wausau (Wasn't anything special but definately a good small market CHR)

KSLZ/ St Louis
WABB/ Mobile
WNOU/ Indianapolis
WFLZ/ Tampa
KDWB/ Minneapolis
WHTZ/ New York
WLKT/ Lexington
KRBE/ Houston
WWWQ/ Atlanta
WEZB/ New Orleans

... in no particular order.
______________

Geez, I didn't realize we could also mention international CHRs/
I love the Nova stations, but of the 5 that exist the one in Perth isn't quite as good as the other 4. Nova 106.9 Brisbane, FTW! ;)

Aside from the Nova stations I'm also a big fan of:
Radio 538 Holland (they can be heard virtually anywhere and everywhere in Holland)
Radio Espace, 96.9 Lyon (France)
Z-103.5 Toronto
Radio Deejay, 95.2 Athens
Radio Deejay, 92.9 Budapest (Hungary)
Jovem Pan FM, All Over Brazil
Metropolitana FM, 98.5 Sao Paolo
Cidade FM, All Over Portugal
One FM, 107 FM Geneva/99.3 Lausanne (Switzerland)
Monster Radio RX, 93.1 Manilla (Philippines)
WKRZ 91.3, Singapore
