good DX in North AL this morning

Getting signals from the coast today
WJLQ 100.7 Pensacola Logged and airchecked at 10:00am with Legal ID
WTKX 101.5 Pensacola Logged and airchecked at 10:05am (faded out but an ID is audible) confirmed by online stream (Playing The Pot, by Tool)
WLWI 92.3 Montgomery logged and airchecked at 10:14am

and the list keeps growing

Dang it, I didn't try today. I did yesterday, but nothing new or interesting except finally hearing WWWQ here for the first time in two years and what may have been your station very faintly and briefly (you are still at 103.9, right?).

I've never gotten TK101, the WGIB repeater in Birmingham and Kicks in Atlanta put the kibosh on that frequency for me.

the opening only lasted about an hour, I noticed all the birmingham stations were coming unusually loud and clear (except 106.9 which always does, and was being overpowered by a 106.9 up in tennessee). This is my first catch of TK from home, various 101.7's always cover 101.5 with splatter, and WMXV doesn't help either. WJLQ was overpowering a local translator, as was WLWI.

I ended up getting

WJLQ, WTKX, WLWI, WWJK, WXBM, WEGR, and 100.9 from Selma, before everything faded
airchecked all but 100.9

and i extremely dout it was my station on 103.9: 1, I moved to 102.7, 2, it's a part 15 :)
you may have been hearing KZ 103 WWKZ from Tupelo MS, it's 50kW
