90.7 maybe KVRT?
92.3 KQVT
92.5 KCOL
94.1 - several stations at the same time, at least 3 stations.
95.1 KYKR
96.1 country???
98.7 KTXN
99.9 KSAB - Corpus Christi
102.5 country???
103.7 KOURL - Corpus Christi KHJK totally gone.
104.5 KKMY
106.1 KIOC
106.9 KLUB (overpowering KHPT entirely for me)

I guess the Beaumont/Victoria stuff isn't that interesting but Corpus Christi is kind of cool.

Mike, something is really wrong with KHPT tonight. I am getting break-ins of KLUB-Bloomington here in north Houston as well. I am way too close to KHPT to get anything other than The Zone at 106.9 so there must be something going on with the signal again.

A couple of catches on my side of town:

91.5 KHML-Madisonville, steady signal
92.3, I believe, is KETX from Livingston. Can't catch an ID but playing classic rock.
92.7 is KIVY-Crockett. Caught this in Bellville several times, but never inside of Houston.
93.5, I think this is KBHT-Crockett. Playing Ted Nugent about 20 minutes ago. In and out, but I know KBHT flipped to Classic rock recently.
93.9 unID. Playing hip hop. Not sure, as the only thing I've ever logged at 93.9 was KMXR out of Corpus.
97.5 is all KFTX-Kingsville/Corpus Christi here. It has overpowered KFNC completely, but I am getting a back and forth mixture of KOUL-Refugio and KHJK-La Porte.
106.1 is going back and forth between KIOC-Orange and KTTX-Brenham.
102.5 is KMKS-Bay City. I am getting it too. Pretty good signal with RDS displayed.
98.7 KTXN is nowhere to be found up here, odd as Victoria's Jack is a regular catch for me.
107.7 in and out playing Smash Mouth. Pretty weak signal, and I don't think this is KTBQ out of Lufkin.

Is that what I'm hearing at 99.9? Corpus Christi? Usually KSHN-Liberty up here but I'm getting Spanish music at "shine all 9".

One that I've never gotten in Houston, I logged tonight. KNFX-Bryan over KISS-San Antonio and KNGT-Lake Charles. For a second I thought KISS had flipped from active to classic rock, but then caught a Brazos Valley commercial.

The Country at 96.1 was probably KYKZ Lake Charles. My biggest one I have ever had was WOLZ Fort Myers while driving along the Gulf Freeway in La Marque.

96.1 was most likely Bryan College Station if you live close to 290 & the beltway you get it like a local

Look for KXXM-San Antonio at 96.1 as well. Been picking them up the last two nights from the northside. I agree that KYKZ was most likely your country catch the other night, but it is entirely possible that it was Aggie 96 from Madisonville. It fights KYKZ on a daily basis at my location.

brian: You and I share that experience. Even had RDS display for 95.3 - OLZ. Logged that a little less than a year ago.

Don't forget it could of been KIOX out of Bay city as well 96.1. I received Candy 95's HD signal over KVIC this weekend. I had to disable my HD radio to be able to receive KVIC. My analog radio even had a time pulling in KVIC this weekend. I was even picking up "the wolf" 99.5 out of Dallas in Lavaca county. . It was wide open Saturday night!

I've only caught KIOX-Edna one time since it came back on the air. Good catch on "The Wolf". Don't you have a fairly strong signal from KISS in Lavaca County?

Most of the time KISS comes in good. But I am in the fringe, so it depends on the weather how good it comes in.
