Good FM Skip Today

I'm in Lebanon. Got out of the car at Walmart listening to Lightning 100. Got back in the car during the storm and KCLL in San Angelo, Texas was clear as a bell and completely covering up Lightning 100! There were stations coming in with a lot of interference all over the dial. The only other station coming in clearly (no static or interference) was Jack FM in Dallas at 100.3. Even the RDS was strong enough to come through on the car radio!

I got home and even have Jack FM from Dallas on the radio in my kitchen!

I pulled in that 100.3 from Dallas on my Grundig G6 this morning. It tried to kill the Beaver from HopTown, but it wasn't strong enough, so I heard a mix of both at the same time.

Firepoint, I'm with you, but you realize about 1/3-1/2 of the posters here are probably too young for the reference. Now those geezers (myself included) on the yahoo board, another story-

Do you consider 27 to be too young? By the way, I'm surprised Eddie Haskell didn't try to kill the Beav!

Actually, at 47, I, too, would be too young, as I was born in 1963, which I believe was the year that the network killed the Beav! But he has lived on in reruns!

Not if the Beav didn't try to kill him first! 8)

Not really a skip, but picked up a few randoms on the way to work (and at work). Rare considering the civic has reception comparable to a typical boombox. I noticed it when WGSQ 94.7 was covered up by classic rock and WayFM wasn't coming in on any frequency.

WBTG 106.3 Florence, AL
WMSR 94.9 Collinwood, TN
KGLU 103.9 Gideon, MO
WQQR 94.7 Clinton, KY

There were several others, but I forgot them by the time I got to work.
