GOOD GOD ! ITS SEAN HANNITY FOR JAY SEVERIN

Looks like it is dial switching time from WTTK 96.9.
Sean Hannity is filling in for Jay Severin for the next two weeks

Ugh. Will see what Howie and Ed Shultz have.

96.9 should be ashamed of itself.

Live But Not LOCAL.

Say good bye TTK.

-----
I know its VB for Howie.

Yeah, but what's the alternative? Another "radio rewind, no calls please" ?

How about a week of guest hosts? WRKO does this on ocassion. I'd like to see Mumbles [try to] do a show.

Or they could do a Bill O'Forehead marathon from 1-6, and drive away ALL the listeners.

Re: GOOD GOD ! ITS SEAN HANNITY OF JAY SEVERIN

How about Thomas "Tai" Irwin subbing for Severin??

No Surprise AT ALL! ITS SEAN HANNITY OF JAY SEVERIN

They've been doing this for years - the ratings must reflect a good effect - why do you act like this matters. Severin is so blowing hot air this time of year, when other people's blood isn't boiling over national politics, his ratings always go down, Hannitizing Boston for a couple of weeks doesn't matter so much, does it?

Hannity ROCKS!

Great move on TKK's part....

TAI's a liberal, what more can I say?

And VB was trashing Bush, too. Probably doing an audition tape for Air
America :)

The first post with the headline Good God! should be rephrased God is Good - for having Sean Hannity on WTKK afternoons.

I think I just heard God crying.
Just read the morning paper and Right Wing Republican Christian Television Evangelist, Pat Robertson, [ 700 Club ] said on his Bible thumbing Pass The Loot [PTL] show yesterday that we should assassinate Hugo Chavez, the President of Venezuela because he is anti-Bush. Wonder how Hannity will excuse this abomination. If Robertson's plan takes place there will probably be death squads in every state that John Kerry carried. Time to duck or get a flak jacket. Another Right Wing Republican is apparently off his Thorozine.

Has Hannity EVER openly disagreed with a single policy of the Bush Administration? At least Severin can independently think...

Is that a rhetorical question?

Seriously, it is not. At least some conservative hosts disagree with the Administration from time to time. I cannot think of an instance in which either Hannity or Rush has disagreed. However, at least Savage, Severin, and some others have spoken out against it. Actually, I would add Laura Ingraham to the initial list of Hannity and Rush.

Re: No Surprise AT ALL! ITS SEAN HANNITY OF JAY SEVERIN

Hannity disagrees with the immigration policy and there may have been a couple other instances when he has differed.

some guy named Mitt was filling in

Didn't really hear much of it but instead of running Jay or Sean yesterday,
WTKK had a new, soft-spoken talk host who I believe is named Willard
Mitt Romney. Last seen practicing his State of the Union speech in front of a mirror. (Jumping the gun eh Mitt?)

Re: No Surprise AT ALL! ITS SEAN HANNITY OF JAY SEVERIN

why do you folks care about how Hannity does his thing? If he makes it to the top disagreeing with the President never, or occasionally, is of no relevance. He's got an act, its successful, its a conservative talk show, its played on conservative talk stations.

This harangue over the success of talk radio (a conservative medium) and its hosts is stupid considering this is supposed to be a forum for people who know something about radio. Parklane, who is obsessed with loving liberal talk radio and listening to conservative talk radio, what do you hope to accomplish here?

Re: some guy named Mitt was filling in

Well, Hannity goes off at 6 and Jay at 7 so they probably had the LDS Flash on for the last hour.

Re: No Surprise AT ALL! ITS SEAN HANNITY OF JAY SEVERIN

I am against BORING and PREDICTABLE Talk Radio and Conservative Right Wing - We Read from the Republican Party Playbook IS BORING RADIO. I would say the same thing if they read from the Democrats Party Playbook.

Stop making this a personal attack.

Re: No Surprise AT ALL! ITS SEAN HANNITY OF JAY SEVERIN

> Does that mean "flip flop"? :)

Very true. Remember when Severin promised not to vote for Bush when the latter signed McCain's campaign finance reform bill? Well, a year later, all was forgotten, and Severin told his listeners that he was voting for Bush - and telling listeners to do so as well.

Hannity's views are important in that his influence induces people to vote, and thus can influence the outcome of elections.
