GOOD IDEA

For those who have the Converter Box like I do.
I have Magnavox, when I change the channel, it shows the name of the Channel, and TV Program, as well as I can see what's on for the next few (two-three) hours.
Today (Saturday) I noticed, Channel 4, showed (4.1)
hmmmm???
My good idea, they should look into putting "Antanna TV" and make it on 4.2. and go up against (ME TV which is now on 5.2)
This is just a good idea. Nothing to hurt no one.
Your thoughts?

Channel 4 will not put Antenna TV on 4.2 because CBS does put subchannels on its O&Os. They don't want competition, and don't want compromise with the main CBS picture (which may happen if HD programming is airing on the main channel and a subchannel, or if there are several subchannels).

Does WLVI-TV (CW) channel 56 of Cambridge have any subchannels? I had almost thought they were tied to Tribune, but then remembered the LMA with WHDH-TV (NBC) channel 7. Tribune has a lot at stake with Antenna TV. It's why we have it here via WTIC-TV channel 61-2 of Hartford. Their "sister station", WCCT-TV (CW) channel 20 of Waterbury, runs ThisTV on channel 20-2.

They have The Country Network. Tribune sold WLVI to Sunbeam in November 2006.

In NYC, WCBS has the CBS+ subchannel that runs 24/7 news.

i wish FOX25 Boston have a stronger OTA signal that can be seen in Fall River and add Mundo Fox on their .2 subchannel.
