Good Job by WMRD's Bob Muscatell

I just wanna say Bob Muscatell on WMRD 1150 AM did a good job this morning with continuous coverage of The Power Plant Explosion with updates from CNN, News Channel 8, and by having local politcos on the air. According to Muscatell the radio station is located about a mile from the blast site and he had to show ID to get down River Road to the station. I don't recall if I saw the power plant when I visited the station last year.

Eric Dobratz son of one of the victims - Ray Dobratz previously was a sports reporter on WMRD and now works as a producer at WTNH TV.

Mark that is what a good LOCALLY OWNED station does. I once applied to work at WMRD in Middletown speaking with Dom DeCesare the owner. Sadly I didn't get the job.
