Good job KTRH!

Was doing business in Galveston this weekend- down from Dallas- and was thrilled with 740's coverage. Alot of folks I talked to (from family to state workers) said they were really impressed with the non-stop information on KTRH. So sad to see the devastation in Galveston...and more than 1 week after the storm! Wow. Our neighbors down south still need so much help and information. Keep it up 740!

Agreed, especially their morning show JB and Lana. True professional broadcast anchors.

I also have to agree. Their coverage was up-to-date, informational and professional. I only hope they take a lesson from what they have accomplished with this coverage and apply the positives going forward. Pushing Rush & Hannity to KPRC was an excellent decision. Handled like this, you can see the advantages of the multiple outlet owner. Problem is...it has not been handled like this up to now. KTRH, please learn from this experience! You did GREAT!

I don't expect their greatness to last, but yes KTRH has been splendid before, during and after the storm. I consider this an example of the all-news station Houston greatly needs and that KTRH should be. The way they have it now is great ... keep Rush and Hannity on 950!

I second that notion. Houston really needs KTRH to be a news radio source.
Rush and Hannity are good entertainment but not really useful to anyone.
