Good Luck, Mike Preston

Mike did a very good job with KBKS. Best of luck
in the world of News/Talk and Oldies. KUBE was tough
to beat in Seattle, KGO will be a true challenge in
SF. All the best.
 
Been a rough year for Program Directors in Seattle. In the
last six months PD's have vacated: KMTT, BUZZ, KBSG, KIRO, KLSY,
KBKS. Wow! That is a lot of change.

I wonder if this will signal a change to take on KUBE? KBKS has had
a tough 18 months in the ratings with KUBE really beating them. Preston
gave up the KBKS job and the Regional CHR VP job to program a News station.
Maybe it is a sign that KUBE will get a strong challenge. KLSY is poised
to pick up the slack.

A couple of Seattle PD's in SF now. First Chris Mayes and now Preston. Both
working for the same company.
