Good money after bad

With a budget miscalculation of $240m, the UofA has put the brakes on expenses and shown their 500k per year CFO the door. Yes indeedy, spending out of whack with revenues. Gee...wonder where else they've spent money frivolously?

I wonder if they got a grant for the KUAZ nighttime project. Do you know?

Ol Buck Owens shoveled a lot of money into getting 15~Eight 50kw at night with six sticks.
Wasn't that in the later 70's, when FM had pretty much taken over in Phoenix?

Sorry, but it's S.O.P. at the Buckeye Media Hut to be clueless most of the time. However obtaining a Federal grant for obtaining nighttime service for an Ancient Modulation station seems......

Yes indeedy. Guess Buck thought 15~Eighty with 50kw day and night could be just as successful as his KUZZ-AM 5~Fifty in Bakersfield with 5kw. Hee-Haw

I'm sure if we got a visit with you at the bar of the Congress Hotel, the truth would spill out.

I didn't pay attention until now; they're moving the site from south of the outlet mall on my side of the valley to...across I-10 from the UA Tech Park, near Rita Rd.

Now it makes sense; probably have a deal for the land, as the entire area around that old stick is being developed.

14.5 acres at the current site...with ~18 acres surrounding it.

Certainly looks like if that's contiguous, you could build another cookie-cutter subdivision there easily.
