Good Morning AM Skywave today

Getting WCBS over WRFD, WABC coming in as well as WSM (weak). Getting stuff on X-Band including Radio Disney 1640. WBBM coming in strong almost like it does at night. This all in northern Ohio near Cleveland. What are you guys getting today?

A bit ago I heard KTKN 930 khz, Ketchikan AK, with news and weather at 1459z, and some pop music before the TOH. Listening to KOFI-1180, Kalispell MT right now. Not necessarily DX (370 miles), but still coming in OK on my boombox at 7:30 a.m.

Lately it seems SRS has been sort of a dud overall, though -- especially considering the time of year. I have better luck with SSS.

This morning when driving south of Pittsburgh between 8:30 and 9AM, I had KMOX
bursting through at near-local station strength.

Not necessarily skywave as described above, but a series of power outages earlier this morning here in Port aux Basques did allow me to listen to part of the Canada-Slovakia game on TSN 690 Montreal (50,000 watts) until said power came back on. I am having to record the replay right now after only getting the pre-game.

We're in the middle of a pretty bad storm and I think it's raining right now.

Reciprocally here in East-Central PA, Buckeye, we *know* the real season is upon us when we hear WRFD 880 start driving WCBS 880 back into Long Island Sound in broad daylight.

Good DX to you all in 2013!
