Good Morning Columbia

I was just told that Bill Benton, Charlie Benton and Doug Enlow are out at 94.3. Doing a talk show on a country music station was just not working. Best wishes that they and Kevin Cohen and Lee Alexander all find gigs. Tough radio jobs week in South Carolina.

Bill, Charlie and Doug are all good guys with a nice following. You would think there would be a station in the market that might pick their show up. Could they generate enough revenue to benefit, say a struggling AM in the market? 1170 in Lexington?

They are good guys...but it's time to give up the ghost and ride into the sunset. Job well done. They are legends in Columbia, SC radio.

A talk show doesn't work on a country music station? Bullcrap. Maybe they do need a change of radio stations, hope they stay in the Columbia market if there is a way to do so.

I see if you are going to do a "talk" show on a music station make sure the audience is your target other wise the station will not benefit from it.
