Good Move Gig

Been seeing TV spots for 94.1 on the local stations today. Not a bad spot and it will certainly help get the word out that Oldies live in the triad. I know 93.1 always did well in the book the few times they ran TV. Now if only 94.1 could get rid of the sports programing.........

Believe me, The sports programming will never go anywhere!

why would he would get rid of it? Tar Heel basketball is pretty popular. But I do agree that the TV spots are nice.

As long as Hilton ownes the station, UNC will not be going anywhere. He's a big fan! I suspect he makes decent money on it, and it really is a pretty good fit for the format. UNC had a very large alumni base in the Triad. Now, if he will use some avails during basketball games to promote the regular format ....

...and Tar Heel football will be VASTLY improved under Butch Davis. He already landed the 11th best recruiting class in the land (according to ESPN) and was working with less time than the big boys.

But, you know that while the UNC fan doesn't like to lose, they LISTEN! Even as the football team has struggled, the alum tune in and listen to Woody!

been a while since I last visited...i hear the wsjs closing is scheduled for tomorrow..anyone know whats going to happen..think mcbride will have a ride...think glenn will stay on the curtis train?
