good news/bad news:

first the bad: media play outlets are closing down.
The good: wicked discounts - storewide.

I purchased a 60-song massive dance hit 6-CD Comp..
"The Ultimate Summer Dance Collection..."
for under, yes *UNDER $20* : ) [real artists/songs,
and authentic remixes] !! !! nothin' cheap about these
CDs..well, expect the price.

Another Good/bad news:

BAD: i live in a city that only offers adelphia..
GOOD: i have digital cable, and re-discovered the
"music on demand." the format of dance, is NOT well-represented,
with a "hot 100" selection, however, they do have a
great playlist that you can click and immediately
watch the video : )
to say the least, it's pretty sweet!!!

*Which reminds me, to add:
telepopmuzik "breathe"
to the list of songs that were hits, post 2000..
(from an earlier thread).

*It also reminded me of "one" of my fave's:
"starry-eyed surprise" from the guilty pleasure top 5.

that is all i got for now....wired. Unplugged.

We used to have a Media Play in Houston but it was only open for a couple of years (I want to say late 94 until sometime in 1996).
It was a cool place from what I remember.

So I take it Adelphia is not good?
I have Time Warner where I live and they're prety good.
I haven't looked into the video on demand lately, but I've seen some good stuff on there from time to time.

There is a MediaPlay in the Chattanooga, TN area, not too far from me. I'll have to go down and see what they have on clearance.
