Good night for AM! New TIS logging also! 12/01/09

Here's some of the AM stations I've gotten tonight after sunset using my Grundig G5.

530: had a BIG jumble here, Hood Canal Bridge TIS, KNEZ390 Northup (Bellevue) TIS, and a 1khz tone (who's this? NOT European, asian/testing?)
540: CBK Regina, SK/unID under (KRXA Carmel Valley, CA?)
550: KARI Blaine, WA stronger tonight (did they not power down?)
560: just KPQ Wenatchee
590: KUGN Eugene, OR/KQNT Spokane, WA, both with Obama presidental address
600: CJWW Saskatoon, SK
610: KONA Pasco, WA/jumble
630: KCIS Edmonds, WA only
640: KFI Los Angeles, CA
650: CISL Vancouver, BC/KSTE Rancho Cordova, CA?
660: CFFR Calgary/KAPS Mt. Vernon, WA/KXOR Junction City, OR
910: CKDQ Drumheller, AB/KTRO Vancouver, WA
940: CJGX Yorkton, SK (only the 2nd time logged)!/KWBY Woodburn, OR
960: CFAC Calgary, AB/jumble
970: KCMD Portland, OR/jumble
1610: NEW: NOAA Weather Radio traveler's information channel, Pasco, WA: Heard with forecasts for Pendelton and other cities around the area. Poor.
1630: KRMD Fox Farm, WY
1650: nothing
1660: KTIQ Merced, CA/KXOR Junction City, OR
1670: KNRO Redding, CA (Fox Sports Radio)
1700: XEPE Tecate, BCN, Mexico

This could be a possibility: there is a beacon station on 529 kHz, LYQ, from Tennessee, that is widely heard in the eastern half of North America. That might be a stretch for your part of the country, however, it's probably the only transmitter in North America on 529 kHz. Being that it's on 529 kHz, that would produce a 1 kHz heterodyne.
