Good Oldies Station - KLUV

I have been listening to 98.7 KLUV out of Dallas, TX and it sounds great! A very good balance between the 1960s and 1970s and the songs flow very well. I don't hear any 80s songs. Here's a sample from Mediabase:

3:10 AM OUTSIDERS Time Won't Let Me Capitol
3:07 AM ELVIS PRESLEY Burning Love RCA
3:05 AM HARRY NILSSON Everybody's Talkin' RCA
:01 AM FLEETWOOD MAC Go Your Own Way Warner Bros.
2:57 AM BYRDS Turn, Turn, Turn Columbia
2:53 AM FRANKIE VALLI Can't Take My Eyes Off You Philips
2:46 AM THREE DEGREES When Will I See You Again Philadelphia Inter.
2:43 AM ROLLING STONES Jumpin' Jack Flash London
2:38 AM BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's/With A Little... Capitol
2:35 AM STAMPEDERS Sweet City Woman Bell
2:33 AM GUESS WHO No Sugar Tonight/New Mother... RCA
2:30 AM HOLLIES Long Cool Woman (In A Black..) Epic
2:20 AM THELMA HOUSTON Don't Leave Me This Way Tamla
2:17 AM JOHNNY RIVERS Baby I Need Your Lovin' Imperial
2:12 AM JANIS JOPLIN Me And Bobby McGee Columbia
2:07 AM 5TH DIMENSION Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In Soul City
2:04 AM BEACH BOYS Sloop John B Capitol
2:01 AM AMERICA Sister Golden Hair Warner Bros.
1:58 AM RASCALS Groovin' Atlantic
1:55 AM EMOTIONS Best Of My Love Columbia
1:48 AM J. FRANK WILSON Last Kiss Josie
1:45 AM FOUR SEASONS December, 1963 (Oh, What A...) Warner Bros.
1:42 AM ASSOCIATION Windy Warner Bros.
1:37 AM JAMES TAYLOR You've Got A Friend Warner Bros.
1:35 AM SUPREMES Baby Love Motown
1:31 AM JIM CROCE Bad, Bad Leroy Brown ABC
1:28 AM FLEETWOOD MAC You Make Loving Fun Warner Bros.
1:20 AM ZOMBIES Time Of The Season Date
1:15 AM BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE Takin' Care Of Business Mercury
1:10 AM BILLY JOEL Piano Man Columbia
1:06 AM MITCH RYDER/DETROIT WHEELS Devil With A Blue Dress On New Voice
1:04 AM PILOT Magic EMI/ERG
1:00 AM MONKEES Daydream Believer Colgems

I suggest checking them out. Sure, the songs aren't obscure or anything, but it's pretty nice if you don't have an Oldies station in the area (like me).

If you are looking for more 50s and 60s try this, it's a VanguardMedia am out of Albuquerque:

The heck with commercial stations.....they still don't get it, they still program like it's 1975, the same sorry 800 songs for 35 years. Try Internet station Golden oldies (programmer Diane J) , on www.live365.com. the Internet stations are better that commercial or Satellite and its free.

This station was voted number 1, by the listeners, over 10,000 stations on live 365.com, about 2,500 of them are Oldies stations. That is quite a feat for Diana J. I am launching an Internet station in 4 months and my goal is to go head-on with Diane j, it's going to be tough, but I am going after her.
