Good Ride Cowboy (US Armed Forces?)

The first 500 times or so I heard this song, it included a line...."came a Navy brat in a cowboy hat and that Copenhagen smile". However, recently I've noticed that line has been changed to "Air Force brat". Any reason for this? Did Garth cut a different version for each branch of the military? Or was there an historical error in the original version?
Edited by Smittian on 02/23/06 01:12 AM.

Historical error. LeDoux was indeed the son of an Air Force officer, not a Naval officer.

From doing a little reading around, apparently they "digitally corrected" the song & re-released it.

Jones Network's "Danny Wright All Night" still uses the Navy version. Or at least they did a few nights ago.

No disrespect to them, but it would be interesting to hear Garth sing about a "Coast Guard brat."
