Good Stuff

Doug P. can hold his own in the morning, he's great filling in for P&A.

I wonder why someone doesn't give him an offer he can't refuse to do mornings somewhere.

I definatly agree. He sounded awesome this morning.

I think Palmieri prefers working behind the scenes as opposed to having his own show, but he does host a good morning show--along the same lines as Paul Jaxon, but a bit more classy.

Doug hosted mornings for a while on 100.3 WHEB/Portsmouth, NH before coming back to HJY in '99. And I think he also does some voiceover work for a handful of stations.

He's relatable like a human being and the good thing is the audience knows him already unlike the strangers they bring in on the other stations in that building to do morning fill. Last I knew he does track some rock station in upstate NY.
