Goodbye AirCorp Mic Processors!

Jim Loupus e-mailed me last week to tell me that Air Corp is ceasing production of it's popular 500PH and 500TV mic processors. If you find one for sale anywhere grab it. If you have one that is broken, you should contact Air Corp in Normal, Illinois asap to see if there are still parts available.

There was an inference that they might be coming out with a new model..but with the economy the way it is..we'll have to see.

I was never a fan. With all due respect, I could think of a dozen boxes I'd rather use, including the onboard processor Auditronics used to sell with their 200 series boards. That's what's great about audio...it's so subjective.

Hi Bob..the Avedis MA5 is our studio-wide preamp. We use them everywhere..just terriffic. It is built on the API500 series template..so it fits in any 500 modular power supply rack..Mates very well with an API 560 EQ

Avedis Audio Electronics makes them.
