Goodbye "CW-11" & Hello to WPIX w/ Circle 11 Logo!!

I just did. Not bad looking, although I would have preferred a return to the pre-"11 Alive" logo with thin bars rather than thick(er) "1"'s. Has ANY station dropped a logo, then brought it back, unmodified in any way, after a spell, due to popular demand or otherwise?

From at least as far back as 1975 (when I first saw it) to around 1990, WBAL-11 Baltimore had a logo very similar to WPIX's "Circle 11", only WBAL's bars were slanted and a little thicker than WPIX's. In 1990 WBAL switched to the current logo (overlapping arial "1"'s); some time after the 1995 switch from CBS back to NBC, a small peacock was added.
