Goodbye "Evolution 101.7", hello new country competition to WKLB!

New CALLs On The Way!

101.7 The Bull Boston's NEW Hit Country website: http://www.thebull1017.com/main.html

iHeart player link: http://www.iheart.com/live/1017-The-Bull-6586/

Direct streaming URL link (copy + paste only):

Clue in above URL as to what the new call letters will likely be: WBWL-FM.

Yup, it looks like they have officially applied for them:

Up to today, “WBWL” has been “available” when queried.

As for the seriousness of CCʼs intent for 101.7, they did air a full blown country celebrity laced promo (same format/style/pace as “Kiss 108”ʼs) for “101-7, The Bull” yesterday morning on WHDH-7.
Did they ever do that for “The Harbor”?

i think they did air a commercial for the harbour on tv. evolution not so sure all i remember is maybe a few billboards

I saw an electronic billboard on Route 146 in Worcester for The Bull. The only problem is that you can't listen to 101.7 in Worcester.

There were two Evolution billboards within a mile of each other on Route 1A in Lynn. I was up there this past weekend and one has already been replaced with a non-radio billboard but the other is still there, touting "All Things Dance" on 101.7.

I guess today it becomes official:
