Mark Boudreaux is leaving Entercom to take the GSM position at South Central Radio, Knoxville. I would like to thank Mark for his service and devotion to Entercom, and welcome him to Knoxville. I am surprised that no one has posted anything regarding this. I hope all is well down there.
 
don't be surprised no one mentioned this kevin.

it's not about the family gras line-up, the history of cajun pop swamp radio or a cap's reunion forget it.
 
God Marconi, you act like you invented radio or something. 8) Seriously though, some of us posters arent in the biz, so we dont know the inter-shufflings at different clusters. I try to ask relavent questions or make relevent observations, though.
 
i know fieldtech. i apologize for acting like such a jerk. i guess i am just a frustrated person and the only way i feel better is by venting on a radio chatroom board!

your right. i will take it easy. i am just so mad at programming, big corporations, etc that i took it out on the wrong people. programmers think that small playlists are so great. that their brand is so strong...BS!!!! i have news for the programmers of the world. we aren't going to take it anymore. i do'nt have to listen to your crap one second longer! we have ipods, cd players, sattelite radio, CHOICES!!!!!!!!! we want to hear more than 30 artists, I am so sick of "it tests well" and "it doesn't test well" crap. grow some balls and play good music. could you ever possibly think for one second that people are BORED with your product???? maybe that's why the industry is in the crapper?


well, their i go again venting. i am sorry good people of radio-info.com. I will take it easy. enjoy family gras, cap's 15th reunion, and cajun pop radio history.


but kevin d, mark b is a sales issue isn't it? (think you said he is a manager) and sales issues rarely do get discussed here.

anyhow, i do apologize and shall take up a hobby or sport to burn my negative energy.

Marconi, believe me, you're preaching to the choir. You're not a jerk. We share your views and frustrations over the state of our beloved radio today, and we all know who made it into the horror it is today. Those of us who are long-timers helped to build it into a beautiful business, only to have the pigs tear all our work down for their own greed. Imaging how *we* feel. It is as if the people involved (gee, who could that be?) killed a lifelong friend that we grew up with.

You're cool and it's understandable where you're coming from. Your posts show you have good insight.

Don't stop your posts and expressing your feelings because if everybody does that... *they* have won. And join us at Cap's if you can. You'll find a lot of radio friends who share your view!
