Word has reached me that 970 WFLA's AM Tampa Bay executive producer Jeff Fisher has been shown the door. Sounds like a budget cut to me, but someone has to fill the role. Anyone know or care to guess who it will be?

Hal has been taking care of a family issue. I am told he will be back this weekend.
I was told he was counting the days of leaving. Maybe he resigned?
Jeffy is a professional and very funny. I figured he would eventually be a regular contributing on-air talent. What ever happened to "The Fisher Files?" Was that show still on the air before he left? Always thought it was pretty entertaining...in a quirky way.
