Goodbye MTV and MTV2; hello Razer and Punch Much

Recently, the new names for MTV and MTV2 in Canada were announced -- starting July 1, they are to be called "Razer" (http://www.razer.ca/) and Punch Much (http://www.punchmuch.com/), respectively.

This is in light of Viacom revoking the MTV and MTV2 naming rights from CHUM in May, following their purchase of Craig Broadcasting.

Don't know about "Raser", but "Punch Much" is a bad choice of name -- it sounds more like a pricing game on "The Price Is Right". <P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by rugrats1 on 06/20/05 12:38 AM.</FONT></P>

Punch Much has been the "name" of Much music, unoffically for years! I recall one time when "Punch Much" was all they ever said, instead of Much music.

I wonder what they will say on much now?<P ID="signature">______________
