Will there be any diffrents in the station or just the same I wonder?
 
I'll guess Classic Rock or Country, plus Spurs simulcasting, to zero in on the lower end of the 34-54 male demo that's underserved in CC's present music portfolio in SA.
 
The billboards are up for the new Q101.9

The Q is yellow with the slogan being white with pink.

"More Variety While You Work."

The billboard is off of 10 and Vance Jackson.

Sounds like Hot AC.

hmmm.....it sounds the same as before...thought it would have been another magic or a movin format since someone mentioned flava flav. is the jazz show still gona be around as well as smooth jazz on HD2? What else is new about this station besides the moniker?

Last I checked on that station smooth Jazz was not on HD-2 infact they arnt even multicasting right now.

To me, the station sounds moreless the same. New name but the same old sound. Too bad Q doesn't sound like The New Fresh 102.7 in NY.

hmmm.....well that smooth jazz station was the one reason why I was going to go ahead and buy a tuner, but I guess I'll wait until I move to Houston.
 
Bob FM's smooth jazz sounds pretty good, better than soft rocks did.
 
no new jingles??? all they did is edit the word "point" in 101.9 and sounds like a real bad edit too. Why couldn't they just call it Q101 or Q102? Plus if they are going to be more upbeat, how about some upbeat jingles?

Soft rock has smooth jazz back on HD-2
