Goodbye Sporting News Radio on XM

Well the format switched today and is totally unlistenable. Canned shows, repeats, and doing promo of new show highlighting top high school baseball players for 2 hours on Saturdays with repeats in case you missed it the first time. Egads!
I subscribed to XM partly because it carried SNR. I'm really angry about this change and may just give up the service.
Scrap

The demise of Sporting News in general is sad.

I bailed on XM (in small part) because they started pre-empting SNR weekend progamming, which I felt was the best part.

I always thought Bob Berger and Bruce Murray was some of the best sports talk ever. Witty and informative never bombastic no hyperbole. Berger continued to do well with whoever they came up with and now Murray is back on Sirius.

Yep, XM sure dropped the ball on this one. I listen to SNR every single day during the week and I thought that it was great how they mixed it up between West Coast guys, Dave Smith, Arnie and Bruno and the East Coast perspective with Todd Wright, Tim Brando and the David Stien show although can you still hear about half of these shows still on XM it just does not have the same listenability has it had before XM added their own programming. Thanks XM for making my 12.99/month a whole lot more harder to justify when you take programing off the the air that a lot of people enjoyed and some people actually left the service because it is no longer broadcasted.
