I'd get in on the all-Christmas game and debut a new format after Christmas.

I am guessing they are going to copy the new moderately succesful format that debuted on "104.3 The Mode" in Modesto, CA in the spring. The format is Q & A with the obvious slogan "You have Questions, We have Answers, 104 3 The Mode."

It a news/talk format except their shows are not topic-driven. More informative and consumer activism.

Well this rumour has come! VIVA is off 105.7 this morning with a simulcast of WGST AM at least for now. What other changes at CC?

Maybe they should go "male-oriented" talk, a la KLSX in L.A.

2) I agree that "Peach" as a heritage name is dead, despite the opinions of us radio geeks, because of the Beautiful Music connotations.

I think CurtisinPA would beg to differ.

Does anyone else remember him? He was to Peach what GT&GO is to Oldies or RhubarbFan is to Erin Watson.
