They all work. Just checked them.

You have to either scroll down or click on
the Google maps link near the top of the page.

Try again!

(Or maybe your browser doesn't support Google maps.)

I can not recall this ever happening before, but when I click on any of those links or enter the URLs into my browser window, I go to the page, and then a window pops up on top of it, saying Internet Explorer can not go there and the operation is aborted. The only thing I can do then is to close the popup and the browser goes straight to an error message page. It works fine when I enter other south Florida callsigns before the .html at the end of the URL. I have disabled all my antivirus and popup blockers. I have no idea why this happens, but perhaps you could post the googlemaps URLs directly (I know they are huge and would not look pretty). I have searched and found many AM sites on googlemaps satellite view but have not found those guys. The resolution and focus get poor away from major cities.

Have you seen how the <a target="_blank" href=http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=35.132343,-80.889802&spn=0.004768,0.005219&t=h&hl=en> WBT </a> towers' shadows line up so perfectly?

I've been messing with Google maps on my company's website too, and I think the cause of the problem may be that 954 forgot to put the Microsoft VML namespace in the page header. Try looking at the pages through a different browser (I use Firefox, personally), and they should work fine. 954 if you're reading, you may want to check the headers - once I added that to my pages that had been doing the same thing, they worked fine.

I had the same message trying IE!

What exactly am I missing?

Thanks...

I sure am glad you folks are verifying my issue.
BTW...of course I get the same thing when I click on the links at <a target="_blank" href=http://www.radio-locator.com>Radio-Locator.</a>

Some time back, I tried other browsers but found that MSIE is the only one that opens all sites perfectly with no abberations (right word? right spelling?) so I uninstalled Opera, Mozilla, and Netscape.<P ID="signature">______________

Google maps API

I just looked at the Google Maps API again, and it says:
<blockquote>"Likewise, if you include Polylines on your map, you need to include the VML namespace in your XHTML document for IE browsers."</blockquote>
Well, I don't have polylines (it's a simple map) but
I'll add that code anyway and see what happens.

Check back tonight.

BTW, you won't see the detail the WBT map had because
these stations are out in the boonies and maps aren't
as detailed. But you can zoom in.

Meanwhile, check it out using Netscape or AOL or
another browser.

Yet another reason to hate Microsoft.

Sorry, missed that the first time around...my pages don't have polylines either but adding that xmlns bit and then the header code they give did the trick for me

New Files.... any suggestions?

I changed the code but still get the same error.

Maybe it's my cache.

Someone else with IE please try.

And/Or look at the code.

Still doesn't work for me, but keep trying.
I don't think anyone will flame you if you post those googlemaps links here, as:

I did both...no luck for me either. I even took the liberty of copy/pasting your source into a page to try on my site (changing the Google Maps key), and tweaked it with a few things I did to my own pages, still in vain. I'll take a more thorough look later on when I have some time and see if maybe some other code is interfering with it somehow (my only guess at this point)

Re: New Files.... any suggestions?

OK, I went and got <a target="_blank" href=http://browser.netscape.com/ns8>Netscape,</a> and viewed the maps. Sadly, the satellite resolution out in the boonies is not sufficient for seeing the towers.
