GORMAN REDLICH EAS ENCODER DECODER

Anyone have experience programing a EAS Gorman Redlich Encoder Decoder FCC ID MVZEAS1 ? I don't seem to be able to program what messages I want passed along automatically. The key board on the front does not go to the proper links that the manual says it should to get me to the page where I pick them. Any help would be appreciated thanks

If I remember correctly, you needed software to program them. Contact GR.

I have the EAS-1 and CAP-DEC 1 units. I programmed both using the CAP software. There is a pulldown menu that shows both the state and county. Entering that information, programs both units. It's not shown in the diagrams but there are two serial cables that connects the units together in addition to an audio cable. For more information, contact Jim Gorman direct at 740-707-7277.
