Gospel Radio in ATL

Who has the best Gospel programming and music in ATL right now and why? I love Gospel Music, but the format itself has a tendency to be too boring at times for my speed, and I'm often left scanning the dial back to Smooth Jazz, 102.5, or even 95.5 The Beat. Out of all the Gospel Stations, Praise 97.5 FM is the ratings leader, but they are not the only game in town, and they have been losing ratings recently. ATL is loaded with AM Gospel....WIGO AM 1570 "The Light", WYZE 1480, WTJH 1260 "The Joyhouse", WGUN 1010, and WAEC "Love 860" all play some Gospel Music and Religious Proramming (preachin' to the choir..lol) I also noticed that Praise has added some preachin' on Saturday Mornings even. Your thoughts on who sounds the best and what can be improved for this format? 8) From a Sales standpoint, this format has always had challenges in the Urban Market. What can Gospel Radio do to improve its position in this economic downturn? Your thoughts?

Take a listen, and you decide:

WATB-1420 is also gospel in the morning, being one of the stations carrying Reggie Gay's gospel show.

Reggie Gay does an outstanding job with his internet stream and radio show. He is also heard Sunday afternoons on WGUN. I know I'm not in the demo but I really enjoy his musical taste and he runs a really pro sounding show.
James T., the new morning guy on WGUN, does a great job too. These guys work hard to produce a major market sounding gospel show.
