Gotta be something going on that's interesting!

I have tried to jump start some interesting discussions here. This board is dying of boredom. Come on there has to be something going on in CNY radio more interesting than Another first for Brian Ocean! Work on it folks!

I'd do my part, but the September issue of "Celebrity Skin Spectacular" just arrived and it has a fantastic retrospective feature on Jennifer Connelly. Understandably, that's consuming all of my attention. Not to mention my rapidly dwindling supply of Alba Botanica Cocoa Butter hand lotion.

Your friend forever,
Biggus "Slip Slidin' Away" Primus

PS- Did you know Jennifer Connelly's physique is almost identical to that of the young Dame Helen Mirren? We're talking measurements within millimeters of each other.

PPS- And that both of them share an appreciation for challenging roles that showcase their abilities? And by "challenging roles" I mean ones requiring a minimum of clothing.

PPPS- I once again call your attention to the halcyon days of 2006/2007 on this very board. A few of us warned that the numerous calls for a more "polite" and "professional" style of discussion, and the resulting crackdown in moderation, would kill what was once one of the most vigorous communities on Radio-Info. Funny how things worked out, eh?

Yeah, just hasn't been the same since "Bone", that goofball braggard over at CC (who probably got turfed) and you backed out, Biggus.

Stick around and liven things up a bit!

A moment of silence for the late, great Bone. Not that he's deceased (that I know of... at least I hope not.) He has, however, departed these boards. Bone's throwdowns with Biggus and the rest of the board were a big draw and even Biggus gave him props for his stamina. That Bone kicked his board jones after getting his ticket punched shows the man had serious self control. Unless he's now posting elsewhere using another name. Stranger things have happened. IIRC, Bone worked for Ready Eddie Levine. Bone was pretty damn adept at lobbing fire at the CC guys. Those were the days my friend they said they'd never end. Now the 'Cuse board resembles Woodlawn at midnight.

True. How about those old days when Howard was leaving FM for Satellite programming as he was putting Brian Ocean on the air while making fun of the Rhino and Darren the GM. Such fun for us bored no-talents.
I missed you too Element9, just as much as I missed the air and the water.

What? You had a problem with him too?! Tell me it isnt so because sirroxalot is always so much fun. After all, who needs fun on the radio.

While I was never a fan of Bone's aggressive posting style he did have the one thing the board is now sadly lacking- passion. He didn't have the stylistic or intellectual chops to back that passion up effectively, but he never let that stop him. Personalities like that are a wellspring of material for keeping things lively.

As an aside, I'm troubled by the absence of RomeToupee since the real Rome Toupee started working for Levine. What a delightfully awkward situation *that* must have been. Heh.

Maybe the Cumu-less takeover of Citadel will free up some tongues. Fasten your seatbelts. Friday's supposed to be the day.
