Gotta Give Kiss-FM and Power Credit...

Not only do they remain in 2nd behind the mighty Lite - which isn't so mighty these days in that they declined a bit for the second straight book - but WRKS is now within less than half a point on WLTW.

I would imagine Mike Baisden would have something to do with that...

So this is definitely good news for Emmis. The bad news being that their world-famous Hot 97 has finally been caught by rival Power 105.1. WWPR now sits in third place atop WQHT, by a tenth. Payola scandal aside, Power definitely targeted on its prey, and finally reached their goal.

Oh, and I would imagine Star and Buc Wild would have something to do with that...<P ID="signature">______________

KISS and POWER deserve credit although HOT is a better hip, hop station and has no worry that they will remain number 1 even though their currently slightly below POWER.
HOT is a power house of hip, hop and a legend in it's own right. The lack of numbers this book is due to Star and Buc as you stated.
While POWER is no suburban cookie cutter hip, hop station, HOT has awesome programming and in my book is the most creative, eclectic and non commercial type, commerical hip, hop station in the country.
