Gow Media appoints A.J. Hoffman as Program Director of Sports KFNC-FM (ESPN 97.5) Houston. He has a strong track record as an air talent and currently co-hosts "The Blitz" in afternoons with Fred Faour. Hoffman will continue with The Blitz while assuming the additional duties of Program Director.

"We are excited to elevate AJ to the PD position," said ESPN 97.5 General Manager Todd Farquharson. "He has demonstrated excellent programming instincts, and we think his experiences and leadership abilities make him a natural for this opportunity."

Currently Hoffman hosts the Blitz on ESPN 97.5 FM and he will also do PD duties for the station.
 
With the demise of SportsMap 94.1 KFNC will be getting all the Gow Media broadcast attention. Might be seeing some changes in the near future.
