GPB kids on .2 is coming soon on GPB statewide

The final piece to the George Public Broadcasting multi-casting puzzle is coming soon to the statewide PBS network. GPB is already running a slide on .2 of all the digital signals in the state that promotes the upcoming child focused channel. Recently GPB added GPB Knowledge to .3 so we will soon have 3 PBS stations on one channel.

Too bad. Unless they're removing all the kids programming from 8-1, there will be lots of times when there's two kids shows on at the same time.

Does anyone know when Comcast/Atlanta or other cable systems will add the new GPB subchannels?

Subchannels are not under the must carry umbrella, so GPB will have to negoitate with each cable provider in the state to secure carriage. Many cable systems in other states carry PBS station subchannels on their digital systems.

GPB may scale back the Kids programming during middays (like WPBA, which has Charlie Rose, Tavis Smiley, and Rick Steves 12 PM-2 PM). "Sesame Street" and the other programming will not be leaving the main channel anytime soon, as long as the satellite and cable providers are not carrying the GPB subchannels.

Any listing of which GPB stations are built-out for Digital, and what channels they are carrying?
Maybe a web link that's up to date?

All of them are on the air, and at last check, x-1 is GPB-HD and x-3 is GPB Knowledge. x-2 still has a slide promising GPB Kids.

On my site, I've been keeping WGTV-8 in Athens up to date but waiting for a final lineup to copy it to the satellite stations. I've done this with several statewide PBS networks.
