GR Jocks Salaries

Just curious as I've never worked in the radio industry, but what are guys like Jeremy White, Howard Simon and Shopp & Bulldog pulling in? I assume those would be the highest paid personalities at GR.

First of all, WGR hasn't employed "jocks" or disc jockeys for quite some time. Or are you referring to them as "jocks" because it's a sports station? If so, have you seen many sports talk hosts? The word "jock" doesn't usually come to mind. lol

Secondly, I would guess the main drivetime hosts pull anywhere from 60K to maybe a 100k, not including bonuses and other assorted salary enhancements. Longevity also plays a part.

Not bad scratch for the incredible shrinking market.

If those guys on WBEN and WGR are making that much money, they should go to church and light a candle every week and never take the rabbit's foot out of their pockets.

Don't forget the "non=profit" WBFO. I don't know about WGR, but if those at WBEN need to light a candle every week, those at WBFO should do the same, or 5 a day.

Ridiculous. The salaries of WBFO program hosts and news anchors don't compare to those of talk show hosts at WBEN and WGR.
