Grace Curley gains Reno, Nevada affiliate

And Kuhner isn't going national, baybee... he's stuck on "just one station" as Ch 7 would say.
Meanwhile former sister station WEEI-FM won't be doing Patriots post game shows.

But but but, the ratings are through the roof! How many years has it been since he announced that if his ratings were good by the end of the year he'd be going national??? Ten years? Wasn't it back in 2012?

Grace is a female Howie clone, same mannerisms, same grunts and groans, same reading of newspaper articles. And just to be clear, no, I don't listen to the morning drama queen or the afternoon clone or the guy who's been phoning it in for years. What's that segment called? Hate mail Monday, yes that's it, I give Howie permission to use my comment! 😁😁😁😁

Let me correct myself : They are keeping 2 local football shows(NFL Sunday pregame and postgame) on Sundays as well Westwood One's NFL package. They did whack their local fantasy show, though.

Not sure what it has to do with Grace Curley, but I preferred the EEI pre and postgame content to the one running on the Patriots flagship.

I figured the movie reference was that but thought, what's TOIA? Ah now I see, for Tired Of It All.
By the way Howie was born a couple weeks before the late Queen started her reign...

I've yet to really figure out why people listen to her. Its 3 hours of virtually unlistenable radio with a vacuous airhead with a pretty face (some would say, too much makeup IMO) behind the microphone.

The only time I listen to Carr is if I'm in the car driving somewhere during those hours.

My radio listening time has been cut significantly over the past year. I'm spending more time reading.

I don't listen to RKO during the day, I prefer their nite time hosts, Jesse Kelly and Joe Pags and sometimes Coast to Coast. I haven't listened to Kuhner for about 10 years, Howie since the beginning of this year and Grace I listened to for a few minutes out of curiosity and like I said in my other post, she's a Howie clone, same tone, same mannerisms, same grunting, etc etc etc. During the day I listen to Talk1200, Polito, Beck, Clay & Buck and then I shut it off because I can't stand "am I wrong", "it's all about me" Hannity. Radio has sunk so low it's pitiful. The days of Jerry Williams are long gone.
 
I think she's doing a good job with her show. She may use some of Howie's mannerisms, but she and her producer bring a more youthful approach. I also find that she tends to bring on guests a bit more frequently and let's them talk un-interrupted. Sometimes I prefer more of a directed interview like Howie conducts, but it can work well when she has the guest presenting subject matter expertise.
She does need a daily feature like the Chump Line to help with the multi -hour flow.
