Grading Boston Radio

I hear you, argy.

I remember as a kid going on vacations to other states.
The towns were all different and unique. Now they are all the same. Kinda sad.

in every possible way... interchangeable, generic... applies to so many things, including radio, TV news, etc.

I didn't see any mention of WGBH, WHRB, WERS, WMRB, or any other college/ PBS radio.
I gave up on commercial radio years ago...it doesn't have anything to offer in my eyes.
As for ratings...they don't pay my bills, so why should I pay there's...you can leave the ratings for the moronic media masses....the same people who thought it was a good idea for another Rambo movie.

You listed Kiss 108 and WXKS... I thought Kiss 108 was WXKS FM Medford/Boston?

This is quite a funny thread. I'll give my opinion just like you did.... They'd never get an A from me with no voiceover guy...

You take away points for no voiceover guy? I add points for that!

I don't know why stations think they need "Mr Big Voice" to shout out the same slogans, 12-in-a-row, more music, etc....all day long.

If you have DJ's....THEY should be the one's selling the station.

(BTW...What "imaging" are you talking about that is "tired"?)

Whatever they do, they must be doing something right.
