From RadioInsight's weekly station sale report:
"The Affiliated Media Trust, spinning off the properties formerly held by the bankrupt Graham Newspapers sells a four station cluster located halfway between Abilene and Dallas TX to the James Moser led Palo Pinto Communications for $95,400. The buyer will also be purchasing seven of Graham’s newspapers for an undisclosed amount. The stations involved in the deal are Country “K-Lakes 93.5” KLXK Breckenridge, Classic Rock “Q94.7” KWKQ Graham, Classic Country 1330 KSWA Graham, and AC 1430 KROO Breckenridge."

That just says Affiliated Media is looking to sell the stations.
It doesn't say they were sold does it?

I can't read the full article for some reason.

This is the full text of the story:

Affiliated Media, Inc. FCC Trust is looking to sell four stations.

In this transaction, Marshall Anstandig is the trustee.

The four are: KLXK and KROO, Breckenridge, Texas and KWKQ and KSWA, Graham, Texas.

Palo Pinto Communications, LP is the buyer.

The price is $95,400 to be paid in immediately available funds at closing.

KLXK is a Class C3 FM with an ERP of 12,500 watts @ 459’ HAAT; it operates on 93.5 MHz.

KROO is a Class D non-directional AM transmitting 640 watts day/17 watts night from a single tower; it operates on 1430 kHz.

KWKQ is a Class C3 FM with an ERP of 10,500 watts @ 486’ HAAT; it operates on 94.7 MHz.

KSWA is a Class D non-directional AM transmitting 500 watts day/51 night from a single tower; it operates on 1330 kHz.

The radio deals are part of a larger transaction; Pinto is also buying the 7 newspaper assets of Graham Newspapers; the price for that transaction was redacted from the radio contract filed with the FCC.

There might be some debt that is assumed but usually this is mentioned in the deal. The print side might be doing better and the radio side was much less attractive.

Last time I was in the area, (end of last year), 93.5 and 94.7 were on and sounded pretty good. I think 1330 was up as well but I can't remember even checking 1430.

On another note, CSSI's 89.9 KQXB Breckenridge and 97.7 K249DN Graham were both down, and they were down before that... But no STAs were filed so I'm not sure what happened...
