Anyone who thinks Disney is out of linear TV got some news today. The Grammy Awards will move from their longtime home of CBS to ABC in 2027.

The annual music industry honors will run on ABC, Hulu and Disney+ starting in 2027 after more than half a century at CBS.

How much did the new ownership at CBS have to do with this? How much did the combination of ABC and Hulu have to do with this? CBS simply doesn't have the digital media tools that Disney has. The new deal goes for ten years until 2036. It will likely be a very different world by then.
 
They lose Rudolph and Frosty and now the Grammys?!! Is CBS in trouble?
