KSL-5 didn't make it there. Bet they tried.

But would it have even been possible? The SLC market is tied together (or was at that time, don't know to what extent they rely upon satellite now) by the "daisy-chain" of translators that covers all of Utah. Back in the day, they used microwave to get all the way up to North Dakota (!). I don't know if they had any of delivering SLC stations all the way to Grand Junction. I know that at one time, the SLC market had this weird "spur" into Dolores County CO.

Very surprising is the lack of KWGN and KDVR. Also no KMGH, which would've been useful for whenever KREX pre-empted CBS programming for NBC shows.

KSL and a few other SLC stations were available all over Idaho,Wyoming, Colorado, Montana and Nevada.

See the recent Billings listing.
