Grand Rapids WAYG to simulcast WCSG starting 11/29/13.

Cornerstone University Radio has announced that on 11/29/13 that their 'way fm' (not affiliated with the WaY Media stations) will be switching from a Christian Hit Radio / Rock format targeting Youth and young adults to a simulcast of their AC/Teaching station WCSG.

Cornerstone states that lacking support, economy downturn and young adults going elsewhere for new music among the reasons for the changes.

WAYG "Wayfm" to dissolve and simlucast WCSG

My feeling is that this is not the only changes that WAYG/WCSG/CU Radio listeners will see as WAYG's signal completely sits within the current WCSG signal.. WCSG's listeners will not benefit from the additional WAYG signal airing WCSG programming guess time will tell.
 
Nauseating. I feel really bad for the young people, who as usual get shafted.
