Grant?

I heard alot about him on this newly found site to me. As I am also new to getting interested in radio. I have nothing against him, the only pessimistic thing I can say about him is he's a funny eater(I only met him once over lunch) I've heard plenty of bashings on his behalf, but of course the golfer who got bit in the butt by the gator isn't gonna respect the hunt. Hey, he who gets a piece of the flesh.....more power to him. There's no point in bashing ones competetor, look at politics, the numbers is the only true one that bashes or graces. Everything else is propaganda. As much as I would like other stations to fail for us to prevail, it's still intolerable to jeopardize someones money, and the way they support their family. So what I say is, I wish them the best, and let the competition begin.....resume,whatever.

For the record, I am not fueding in any way. Just giving an honest opinion and outlook.

There are passages in the Magna Carta that were less confusing than this post. What in the world are you talking about?

I am not sure what you are getting at, but I think I know the person you are talking about, and he has not posted anything on this board in a while.,bashing in particular. He is just doing what all the other stations are in the market are doing, selling radio. I happen to know him personally and know he is not bashing anyone. Don't blame him for somebody elses failures. Find out what your problem is and fix it!. It is a tough economy and we have to make the best of it. I am the one who says that radio is getting boring in this market with no creativity, and that is nobody faul but the ones who let that happen. So, with that being said, Happy Posting!! and welcome to the board.

My apologies, I mislead the saying. I meant I heard things about Grant, not the other way around. Human error. And yes, maybe this site isn't the for my thoughts and confused depth, but we're all different and unique in our own way. This is coming from that doesn't speak out alot, let alone be heard. Thanks for your time.

I just re-read what I originally wrote, and understand the confusion. I was wishing Grant the best, and saying alot of peopel didn't like the move he made, but I understood his tactics. Don't get me wrong, i'm a nobody hearing a little. But I respect power moves and competition.

You are a little late, he died in 1885.

Ulysses S. Grant (born Hiram Ulysses Grant) (April 27, 1822 – July 23, 1885) Grant was general-in-chief of the Union Army from 1864 to 1865 during the Civil War and the 18th President of the United States from 1869 to 1877.

But it's the thought that counts.....

Funny.....but don't quit your day job. Good effort, good humor :)
It was not meant to be funny or demeaning. The thread/topic said "Grant", so I assumed you were a fan of history in general and General Grant in particular. Sorry for the misunderstanding. My bad.
