Gray buys FOX programming from KTTW...moves to KDLT

Yesterday Gray bought the rights to FOX programming and moved it from KTTW 7 to KDLT-DT2. They also took the Cozi affiliation too

As of noon today, FOX's channel has moved to 46.2 and COZI TV has moved to 46.4. As for DirectTV, you can find FOX on channel 47.

So now on 46 its NBC 46-1, FOX 46-2, AntennaTV 46-3 and Cozi 46-4

KTTW was sold but they dont say to whom

Dear viewers... As of yesterday (11/2/20), KTTW and KTTM have been acquired by another broadcast company. This change has resulted in modifications to the channel placement of the FOX broadcast network and COZI TV. We ask that you scan your TV for possible channel acquisition, and allow us more time to answer your questions.

Northpine has info on it too

The FOX affiliation in the Sioux Falls market has moved to a different channel, but the circumstances of the change are not immediately clear.

On Monday, Nov. 2, at Noon, FOX moved from its longtime home on KTTW/7.1 to KDLT/46.2. Cozi TV moved to 46.4, and Antenna TV moved from 46.2 to 46.3.

KTTW announced the changes on its Facebook page Monday and said in a reply to that post on Tuesday that the station had been sold. The buyer was not specified.

A reception report indicates KTTW and its satellite, KTTM/12 (Huron), remain on the air carrying ThisTV.

Gray bought the 5 KTTW translators for $1

https://www.rbr.com/grays-dollar-deal-nets-five-tv-translators/

Gray Television is picking up a quintet of television translators presently tied to a full-power station presently offering This TV programming.

It is tied to an intellectual property play that gives Gray the local FOX affiliate — pairing it with its ABC and NBC affiliates serving the Sioux Falls, S.D. market.

Even with a $1 sale price (for the translators), there is a broker: Kalil & Co.
