Gray Media to simulcast Dallas Stars games from Victory Plus

These games will air in other parts of Texas where Gray Media owns a station.

Gray Media has struck a new agreement with sports streaming service Victory Plus to simulcast more than a dozen games from the Dallas Stars across 15 of its broadcast stations in three states.

The deal will make a selection of preseason and regular season games available to hockey fans who live outside of Texas’ major metropolitan areas during the 2025-26 season. A full schedule of matchups will be announced later.

Under the arrangement, Gray stations will carry Stars games in Amarillo, Lubbock, Wichita Falls, Sherman-Ada, Tyler-Longview, Waco-Bryan-College Station, Odessa and Laredo, as well as in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In Louisiana, coverage will extend to Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Monroe, New Orleans and Shreveport.

Presumably, it will be the same 17 games that KDFW/KDFI will simulcast with V+ in Dallas/Fort Worth. Fox and the Stars announced earlier this month that KDFW and KDFI will air 2 pre-season games and 15 regular season games, with KDFW "Fox 4" getting 9 of them and KDFI "More 27" airing the other 8.

I wonder if Fox has any interest in clearing them on their O&Os in Austin (KTBC) and Houston (KRIV/KTXH) now that the games will be available outside D/FW.
