Grayland WA SDR open (temporarily)

I do hope that there will be another coastal SDR in the future. The coastal region of Washington has always been one of the best DX locations, and having an available SDR makes it even more entertaining. I never even knew this amazing technology existed until I joined Radio Discussions.

I only got to listen once, in the daytime.
I know they are right near the old Grayland Motel, so I wonder how the reception is and how the noise levels are...wish there was a full-time Net SDR there. I've always dreamed of having a home there.
Just hoping all the real estate isn't snarfed-up soon.

I don't think you'll have a problem finding suitable real estate out on the coast if that lifestyle suits you. While I'm sure demand has gone up (along with prices), it's a far cry from paying $500,000 to live in 500 square foot house like people tend to do in the Seattle Metropolitan Area right now. Please set up a SDR there if you go!

If I move there, an SDR will definitely be in the plans. I really wanted to do one on Rathlin O'Birne Island, too.
