Haha.

He's on WMET 1160 in the DC area. I think he has some smaller affiliates to the west somewhere too.

I'm curious, does anybody like his show? I feel bad, he's from my hometown and started out there, but that schtick... it's hard to listen to.

It's like he does a character for four hours, every day. It would be similar to Gary Burbank doing every hour of every show as Earl Pitts.

The Grease is a God. Possibly the most original act ever in broadcasting.

What a strange analogy, since I always thought Gary Burbank was doing Gary Owen four hours every day!

If you've heard him and you have to ask, you'll never understand. If you haven't heard him, you missed some truly inspired radio at DC-101 and the Big APE. Now join us as "Sgt. Fury" takes us "South of the Border"....

The Grease isn't for everyone. I find him extremely entertaining.

I've heard him on 1160. I know about his days at DC101 and the Ape. How does he sound to you now?

I won't argue that point. I haven't heard him in a few years.

Being an elderly gent who worked with the Grease way back when at WENE in Endicott, NY I prefer his earlier efforts, but IMHO he's far more talented than Howard or Mancow or {insert pretender's name here}

I am an O&A fan, and I enjoyed Grease's schtick when he was on in Philly.

That being said, Anthony's dead-on impression of Grease is one of the funniest radio bits I've ever heard.

I have the clip as a WinAmp file if anyone wants it. Email me, it's hilarious!

Hey DowntownHazleton..when were you at the Big E?

I just missed "Dougie T..greasin' the WENE" but did weekends there after he went to WAXC. He was really really good there at WAXC.

Worked at the Lincoln Baptist Church studios with Andy Hubbell as GM, Dave Roe, Ray Dee..and others.

Hoyle Dempsey? That's like Garfunkle aking what happened to Simon. I used to collect old WAPE airchecks. Hoyle is a big part of those great shows. I hope you guys can catch up.
