Great coverage once again on WPRO with Boston Tragedy

A public GREAT JOB to the folks at WPRO with the last weeks coverage.A VERY BIG SHAME ON YOU to WHJJ.
WHJJ needs more local content if The Boston Bombing,Hurricane Sandy,The so called blizzard arent enough to convince them to go live at least one more day part I dont know what is.Yes you may not make the money to pay the extra personality or two but collectively from other stations profits Im sure something can be worked out.

I second that emotion!

But let's be honest for a sec...It's always going to be like this as long as 920 remains a one lung radio station....OK!...OK!...so Helen Glover has TWO lungs... ;D.

Every time one of these kinds of events happens, WPRO is going to win by default.....protests by fans of RIPR notwithstanding.

Yes we did, and yes it is. ;D

We were able to leverage our relationship with WBUR to the hilt with direct access to their special coverage (which was fabulous) plus our own, frequent, local drop-ins.

True, although FM is probably where they want to be. I guess if WGBH thinks that its 88.7 FM signal is bleeding money, RIRP could swoop that up. RIPR has at least double the 6+ figures than WJMF does.
