Great FM DX night

thanks to work being done on the 98.5/92.5/97.7/51 tower, i was able to pull in a station all the way from the Ocala area on 98.5 (WKTK), and on 92.5, im getting "WIND-FM" fom the same area...

anyone else having any FM DX-ing luck?

Wow...a quick spin of my Model One dial gave me 94.3 WNFB, 94.5 WFBX, 98.5 WKTK, 100.5 WHHZ, 103.7 WRUF, and 106.9 WKZY, all loud and clear, and without an antenna. I also picked up WCJB 20 on my analog TV.

Very cool, since I live at Southside and JTB! Glad I woke up and jumped online again. Thanks for the tip.

Even though it was after 5 this morning and all the staitons were back up, i was able to get Magic 107.7 out of Orlando while driving home from Panama City to Mexico beach.

KTK usually comes in most of the time when 98.5 is off...it is a straight over the water path from near Crystal River.....damn, I thought I could sign those transmitters off last night without anyone making a note of it....

wooten

i just happened to have the radio on, and was flipping through the dial--then i found out that they were being worked on

That's not a good enough excuse to NOT WARN US!!! You breeched the contract and you call yourself an Engineer, do you? Well, now.

You've used the strobe light excuse way to much. The only excitement left on this board is when you randomly turn off some
station "just for the hell of it" since the Jo Valentime saga is fizzled away.

Please remember the lives you are affecting by your actions (or lack thereof.)

Beers still on me, but the quality is beginning to fall. Rob seems to be gaining on your territory. :p

This morning at 9am I picked up 106.9 The Eagle and Hot 107.7 from Birmingham in Fort Walton Beach like they were local stations. I also picked up Mix 103.3 out of Montgomery also perfect reception. There was a station coming through at almost every frequency on the dial.
